"The Vortex Gun was truly a wonder weapon. It was designed to be fired and create a strong air current in the form of a tornado to knock enemy aircraft out of the sky. During tests it worked pretty well.
The Wind Cannon was another German attempt to use compressed and high-velocity air to knock enemy aircraft out of the sky. The device was actually installed on a bridge and ready for combat use.
The Sound Cannon was no less fantastic than the Vortex Gun. It was designed to produce a series of sound waves so powerful that enemy soldiers would be neutralized or even killed without firing a shot.
Inspired by Archimedes' idea of using the sun's ray as a weapon, the Germans designers thought of making a Sun Cannon that would simply melt enemy aircraft from the sky.
The Electric Gun was an anti-aircraft gun that used electricity to fire its shells. Another novel German idea that was actually practically tested but found to be unrealistic."
